Trekking to the Triund

This summer I was lucky enough to visit Mcleod Ganj in the foothills of the Himalayas, the seat of the Tibetan government in exile and the Dalai Lama. One of the many joys of this place, along with finding yourself eating lunch next to Buddhists monks, is trekking to the Triund,  a plateau that sits some 3000 metres above see level. I was accompanied for much of my descent by a herd of very friendly goats, one of which was keen on having his portrait taken.
